Anjan Ghosal, President and Chief Executive Officer
In 1992, Anjan Ghosal founded IntelliNet Technologies – a company focused on helping companies bring leading edge wireless applications to market. IntelliNet has focused on a variety of technology areas like Location Services, In-building wireless/UMA/Femto and Switch and Mobility for 2/3G and converged networks. In 1997, under his leadership, IntelliNet successfully complimented its strong solutions implementation background with a suite of licensable telecom middleware and application development products. In 1999 IntelliNet’s growth was recognized by Inc. Magazine as an Inc. 500 company – one of top 500 fastest growing companies in the US.
Anjan successfully maneuvered the company through one of the toughest times in the telecom market in 2001/2002 by taking key strategic initiatives combined with prudent cost controls. Since then IntelliNet has diversified in a number of next generation technology areas like IMS and Femto establishing a renewed growth path for IntelliNet. In recognition of this effort, Anjan was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year (Florida) by Ernst and Young.
In addition to CEO responsibilities, Anjan leads Sales and Marketing activities. He has authored several industry white papers and is quoted extensively in industry publications. Anjan has a BS in Engineering from IIT in India and a MS in Computer Science from WVU.
Arun Handa, Chief Technical Officer
Arun Handa leads the development of IntelliNet's next generation technology vision and roadmap, identifies new development opportunities, and expands the company's position as an industry leader and innovator. With over 15 years of experience in the wireless industry, he has been instrumental in delivering complex network elements for IMS, wireless, mobility, location, and messaging applications, including the Accelero and Convero product lines. Before joining IntelliNet in 1995, he worked for Motorola and the Indian Department of Defense. Arun holds BS and MS degrees from the University of Allahabad, India.
David Stelte, Vice President Project Management
David Stelte is responsible for Project Management across all IntelliNet development centers. He has over 30 years experience in architecting, developing and launching major telecommunications, wireless and embedded computing systems in leading edge technologies. Most recently, Dave served as Vice President of Engineering at Clarity Communications Systems. Prior to that he had a 25 year career with the Bell Laboratories, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. In his last position at Lucent Technologies, Mr. Stelte managed a large multi-department, multi-location organization responsible for developing the 5ESS Switch hardware and platform software as well as various wireless products that accounted for multi-billion dollar annual revenue streams. Mr. Stelte holds electrical engineering degrees from the University of Notre Dame (BS) and from the University of Illinois (MS), and is the holder of 12 patents in the areas of software, circuits and telecommunication systems. He has an extensive background in quality management, especially as it pertains to its application to complex technology initiatives, and has been an adjunct professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology as well as the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Tom Short, Director of Business Operations
Tom Short is responsible for IntelliNet's business operations, including customer support and satisfaction, quality management, and contract management. He has over 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry at companies including AT&T Bell Laboratories (now Alcatel-Lucent), ITT Telecom, and Siemens. He has extensive experience with wireless technologies, beginning with the development of one of the first AMPS cellular systems, and he remains on the leading edge of wireless technology today. Before joining IntelliNet, he served as Chief Engineer and Director of a wireless engineering consulting firm. Tom is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
Dan Wonak, Director of Marketing
Dan Wonak leads the Marketing and Public Relations efforts at IntelliNet and brings with him over 30 years of experience in telecommunications. Prior to IntelliNet he served as Senior Vice President Marketing and Senior Vice President Business Development for Telular Corporation, a manufacturer of fixed cellular subscriber equipment. Prior to that Dan was Vice President Marketing for Coherent Communications, a manufacturer of echo cancellation and audio products, which was subsequently acquired by Tellabs, Inc. Dan also held senior executive positions with Hetra Computer and Communications, Extel Corporation and Teletype Corporation. Dan earned a BEE from the University of Detroit, an MSEE from Northwestern University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Bill Skeens, Executive Sales Consultant
Bill Skeens is an independent consultant specializing in helping small companies obtain business with Fortune 500 telecommunication corporations. Bill began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories working on and later managing large R&D projects for the telecommunications industry. In 1995 he became VP in the wireless infrastructure organization. While at Lucent Technologies, Bill was responsible for Lucent's first CDMA commercial release. At the time of his retirement from Lucent Technologies in 2001, he was responsible for the development of UMTS network elements managing teams in the US and Europe. Mr. Skeens worked for Motorola from November 2001 until January 2004 in the position of VP of CDMA Engineering. In this capacity he was responsible for the development of several handsets and managed development teams in the US and Korea. Bill received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
Lorne Hinz, Executive Sales Consultant
Lorne Hinz is a Dallas-based executive sales consultant responsible for identifying business opportunities and developing optimized technical / business solutions for telecom companies. He has over 33 years of telecom experience with Nortel in R&D, Market Development, and Executive R&D leadership. As an R&D Vice President for the last 10 years, he has led several global major R&D teams: Carrier Networks R&D for the long distance operators, including AT&T, Sprint and WorldCom/Verizon; GSM/UMTS high capacity cellular MSC's, HLR's, and other core elements; the Packet Core SGSN, GGSN, PDSN, LTE R&D teams; and Systemic Quality improvement initiatives for Nortel wide. Lorne hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Stanton Kelley, Executive Sales Consultant
Stan Kelley is an independent consultant specializing in network deployment and operation services. He is a senior operations executive with 25+ years in the telecommunication industry. Stan has worked in multiple functional areas such as software development, system engineering, product management, contract proposal management, logistics, and program management. He served as a Vice President of Customer Operations for Lucent Technologies, delivering multiple multi-million dollar projects on schedule and within budget. He later worked at Nokia as the Southeast Region Project Director focusing on GSM delivery services to Cingular and UMTS deployment to T-Mobile. Lorne has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, an MSEE from Purdue University and has completed the Executive Management Program at Harvard University.
