IntelliNet Technologies Announces IMS Jump Start Program
First Program Designed to Speed IMS Deployment by Incorporating Key Technical Elements with Rapid Application Development and Professional Services
MELBOURNE, FL & CHICAGO - (June 5, 2006) – IntelliNet Technologies, a leading provider of convergence technology for wireless, wireline and IP networks, today announced its Jump Start program for the evolving IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) market. Designed to speed IMS deployments by providing a comprehensive product development solution, Jump Start combines Accelero(TM) DIAMETER, an optimized carrier-grade version of the IMS protocol critical for signaling, authentication and billing, with rapid application development software, tiered maintenance plans, and engineering assistance from IntelliNet's Professional Service team. In addition, the program includes options where licensing fees can be deferred until deployment, keeping initial investment costs low.
The backbone of the Jump Start program is IntelliNet's Accelero(TM) DIAMETER. This enhanced version of the Diameter protocol for Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) in IMS incorporates rapid application development with carrier-grade reliability, fault-tolerant redundancy and interface extensions critical for subscriber access, service roaming and billing functions. Developers can utilize Accelero(TM) DIAMETER for creating core IMS network elements from the ground up, or seamless porting of legacy applications to the IMS architecture.
Sensitive to the unique requirements of various organizations, Jump Start provides an array of annual support programs ranging from Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum headed by an ISO-9001 certified Professional Service team. The Platinum Plan includes upgrades and enhancements at no charge, with unrestricted access to network simulators and the IntelliNet Virtual IMS Network Lab that validates development before field deployment.
"The promise of IMS as an end-to-end SIP powered network converging all communication and multimedia services opens new revenue opportunities for both service providers and equipment vendors," said Anjan Ghosal, president and CEO of IntelliNet Technologies. "Our Jump Start program offers the building blocks necessary for achieving first-to-market status without heavy commitment of monetary or internal engineering resources."
Azaire Networks was recently announced as an IntelliNet IMS customer with several additional companies having committed to trials. In April, IntelliNet participated in an IMS interoperability event conducted under the auspices of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
