Accelero™ WIN API

Accelero™ WIN API Datasheet

The WIN specification is primarily used in the wireless network to enable a wireless subscriber to use intelligent network capabilities in systems into which the subscriber roams.  All wireless network elements use this messaging protocol to communicate.  IntelliNet integrates the following three WIN standards:

Accelero™ WIN IS-771 API
The Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) 771 API supports the use of intelligent network capabilities to provide seamless terminal services, personal mobility services and advanced network services in the mobile environment. Applications include wireless activities such as automatic roaming, incoming call screening and voice-controlled services.

Accelero™ WIN IS-826 API
The WIN IS 826 API supports the use of intelligent network capabilities to provide pre-paid charging services in the mobile environment. Pre-Paid Charging (PPC) allows the subscriber to pay for voice telecommunication services prior to usage. This document includes the WIN capabilities that support PPC.  This document describes the needed WIN capabilities for PPC and the intersystem operations to enable wireless subscribers to seamlessly access intelligent network capabilities while roaming into other systems.

Accelero™ WIN IS-848 API
The WIN IS 848 API supports the use of intelligent network capabilities to provide advanced charging services, screening services and announcement services in the mobile environment. Applications include wireless activities such as premium rate charging, freephone, advice of charging, incoming call screening and enhanced preferred language services.  The IS 848 specification is primarily used in the wireless network to enable a wireless subscriber to use intelligent network capabilities in systems into which the subscriber roams.  The IS 848 specification also describes service independent WIN capabilities to obtain the location and status of a mobile station and support wireless number portability.
